Research & Planning
Is there a trial so I can try Lookback out first?

Yep! We offer a free trial (no credit card needed) during the initial 60 days after you’ve signed up for an account, until you subscribe to a paid plan. This trial offers all Team features of Lookback except for the ability to download sessions.

What counts toward my Sessions?

In general, 1 recording with 1 participant/tester counts as 1 session.

However, the algorithm is set to be generous when it comes to not counting restarts and very short sessions. So you might find that some "real" sessions don't end up counting towards the cap. 

If, however, you ever feel like a session shouldn't have been counted, please just let us know and we will add more sessions to your cap, free of charge and no questions asked! 

Can we share an account for multiple people on my team?

Nope. Our product is not designed for account sharing and doing so will have some adverse side effects on your experience. But you don’t have to account share! You only pay for the number of sessions your plan allows for, and you can invite as many members of your team as you’d like to Lookback on every plan.

What's an “Observer”?

Observers are a special account type with limited permissions. Typically, observer accounts are used for stakeholders who are involved just in watching and commenting on content in Lookback. They do not have the ability to create a project or conduct sessions.

How do I recruit through Lookback?

Lookback was built to work with any recruitment solution - you can even use your own participants. Simply enter the URL from your Lookback project into any recruitment tool or email. We wrote some templates for you to make that step even easier! If it’s helpful, we recommend checking out our recruitment partners.

Billing & Security
Do you offer monthly billing?

No, Lookback only offers plans with annual commitments.

Can we get an invoice or purchase order?

We support invoicing and purchase orders on the Enterprise plan. If you’re interested, please contact enterprise@lookback.io

What happens if at some point I cancel my subscription, will I lose my sessions forever?

While you won’t be able to access your sessions from the dashboard without a valid subscription, we currently don’t delete your sessions. This may change in the future, in which case we will notify you via the organization owner's email address.
